Who We Are & Who We Serve
The Genesis Bank Institute for Entrepreneurship (GBIE) is the business advisory and incubator division of Genesis Bank. The GBIE has been created to connect, develop relationships, and provide business advisory and support to help accelerate the success of small-midsize, family-owned, minority-owned businesses in Southern California. Our mission is to democratize business and financial education by breaking down the impediments that inhibit access to economic growth opportunities. The GBIE serves as a center of influence and connectivity, creating, presenting, and aggregating business educational resources, initiatives, and support from the brightest minds, across a wide variety of topics and industries. The GBIE is a vehicle to deliver on the Bank’s MDI and DEI commitment.
Supporting Genesis For Good
The Genesis For Good Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public foundation building strong, inclusive, and vibrant communities by mobilizing resources to support economic and workforce development, financial literacy, affordable housing, safety net services, entrepreneurship, and diversity and inclusion. Through the Genesis Bank Institute for Entrepreneurship sponsorship model, 10% of every sponsorship dollar goes directly into the Genesis For Good Foundation and out into the communities we serve.
Our mission, together with the Genesis For Good Foundation, is to develop and implement solutions that break down barriers for small and midsize minority-owned businesses, creating a more robust and fair business ecosystem.
Our partnerships will be formed on the basis of co-creating value, stimulating economic change, and promoting reinvestment into the vibrant Southern California community.
