Venturize Resources

Venturize.org is a free online resource hub for small-business owners that need help accessing tools and information to sustain and grow their business. Venturize offers unbiased education and resources to help bolster businesses and empower business owners to make informed financing decisions. Venturize is not a lender but a program from nonprofit organization Small Business Majority.

Pepperdine Startup Law Clinic

The Startup Law Clinic is an initiative designed to train law students to serve entrepreneurs of startups with formation, capitalization, corporate governance, user agreements, angel investor financings, and venture capital transactions. Led by experienced startup attorney Sam Wu, the Clinic provides free guidance and expertise to entrepreneurs preparing for a startup’s formation and initial capital investment as well as in negotiating the legal and business terms of the investment. Clients will only be responsible for government filing fees.

Bizfile Online

Bizfile California is the Secretary of State’s online portal to help businesses file, search, and order business records.

Whether you are filing a financing statement pursuant to the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC); searching for a corporation (Corp), limited liability company (LLC), or limited partnership (LP) filing; looking for an immigration consultant; or looking to register your business, this hub consolidates all information needs for California business owners.

LinkedIn offers a platform called LinkedIn Learning, an online educational platform that helps you discover and develop business, technology-related, and creative skills through expert-led course videos. You can also get certified for every single course that you take. The platform is one of the benefits of the Premium subscription, which costs $29.99/month or around $359/year. If you’re a college student, you can access it for free.

Udemy Entrepreneurship

As a global destination for online learning, Udemy connects people through knowledge. From instructors all over the world, Udemy courses span over 75 languages and cover a wide variety of topics. From entrepreneurship, management, sales, business strategy, operations, business law, analytics and intelligence, human resources, and project management, Udemy has thousands of courses.
